[Abstract] In order to understand the clinic effects of inactivated Healive® hepatitis A vaccine applied in adults, one hundred and ten healthy service staff aged from 18-35 years in a hotel were chosen, the 1.0ml of adult-applied inactivated hepatitis A vaccine was injected into the deltoid muscle of the upper arm, containing the inactivated hepatitis A antigen 500U, and the instant effect was observed in 30 minutes, and the local effects as well as the systematic effects were observed in 8, 24, 48 and 72 hours.

The results showed that, there was 1 person fainting during acupuncture treatment in 30 minutes after the Healive hepatitis A vaccine was administrated, belonging to the non-characteristic reaction. There was 1 person appearing the local effects in 8 and 24 hours (swell diameter was 1.0cm), at the occurrence rate of 0.91%; there were 2 persons appearing the low systematic effects, at the occurrence rate 1.82% (body temperature was 37.2℃); and there was 1 person appearing the medium systematic effects (body temperature was 37.9℃), at the occurrence rate of 0.91%. All the people were quite normal in 48 hours. The total occurrence rates of the effects were 3.64%, and the medium systematic effects rate was 0.91%, there were no high systematic effects, and there were no medium and high local effects.
Eighty-five people were observed after the second dose of the inactivated Healive hepatitis A vaccine was administrated, and the instant effects and the local effects were not found. There were 2 persons appearing the low systematic effects (body temperatures were 37.2℃ and 37.4℃), and all the persons were normal in 24 hours. The occurrence rate of the low systematic effects was 2.35%, and there were no medium and high systematic effects. The clinic effects of the second dose were slighter than those of the first dose, which indicated that, the Healive inactivated hepatitis A vaccine was safe to the adults.
